The track was in good shape last night for qualifying. We have 57 (now 56, 1 lost an engine in 1st round) sprint cars signed in and 84 late models. Let's see, 2 qualifying rounds X 57 = 114 + 2 qr's X 84 = 168 = 114+168=282 cars X 2 laps = 564 qualifying laps plus 9 warmup groups per class. I left before the topless A-main but the track was still in good shape. The track crew worked their a$$e$ off through the night and all day yesterday to get the track back in shape. I talked to a few people that were there Wed night and it was NOT rocks, but chunks of clay that were coming up. Have not heard condition reports yet for the drivers that were injured, when I do I'll let ya know.
